Happy Thanksgiving!!! :D

I am so excited about Thanksgiving!

One - I get to see my distant relatives! (I love them so much!)

Two - I get to pig out until I can't anymore! :) Then try to work it all off :(

Three -
I get to thank God for all privileges we have here in America and His love for us that God would provide for all our needs! We are so blessed! God deserves all the praise and thanks. That's what Thanksgiving is about. Everyone coming together and thanking God for His grace and love for our country and His people. He deserves our thanks!

Psalm 100:4

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

Psalm 57:9

I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.

Psalm 86:12

I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.

Psalm 97:12

Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous, and give thanks to his holy name!

Psalm 106:1

Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

Psalm 136:2

Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever.

Psalm 136:3

Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever;

Psalm 136:26

Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

All better!!!

Well, I'm out of my sling!

Story of what happened:

I was playing on the basketball court at church (I was playing football :) and fell on my elbow. I thought it was just going to be a bad, bad, very bad bruise and didn't take any further action. The next day (Thursday) I went to COACH with it and it wasn't getting any better. So after COACH, before my ball game, I went to the Emergency Room and found out that I might have a Growth Plate Fracture (don't ask because I don't know). So I was put in a half cast thing and a sling until that next Monday. This last Monday I went to the doctor and found out that everything was somewhat okay, and I could take it off!!! =) (when I say "somewhat" that means it's still tender)
So anyway, everything is okay and I'm out of my sling!

We've played a couple games since last time I updated. I don't know the scores but our record this year is 4 wins and 2 losses. We are playing a game tonight that we are expected to win so then (if we win) we will be...well do the math!

So, schools going well and life too!

Many blessings!

Well we had two more basketball games since my last post...

The first game we played Okarche Junior High team. We lost. :( I think the final score was 36 - 53.

The second game we played St. Elizabeth Junior High team. We won! :) I think the final score was 19 - 53!

Anyway, that was just a quick update on basketball!

My life in a nut shell...

School: Going well? Yeah I think so. School's really hard this year, but I'm learning a lot! I was shocked how hard it would be to go from 8th grade to 9th grade... BIG change! My grades are staying up (praise the Lord!) and my spiritually walk is growing. Schools going well!

Basketball: I'm playing for the OKC Knights this year (http://www.okcknights.com/) and it's going really well! I'm learning a lot about basketball and learning how to be a good servant. My first game is this Monday (11-2-09) playing a decent team (so I hear). It will be a lot of fun! I'm not starting this game, but I'm really happy for Luke that he is!!! Basketball is going well and I'm having a blast!

Mission Day: Mission day (if you don't already know) is a community outreach that we're doing at our church (Western Hills Church). Character Focus Ministries, Novo Ministries, and Character First, are all teaming up with Western Hills Church. Every Monday we go into two schools, Lee Elementary and Santa Fe South. In the morning we teach Character (with Character First) during school hours. In the afternoons we go into these same schools to do after school Bible Clubs. Since the kids volunteer to come, we can share Christ with each one of them. It's going really well and many have already come to know Christ as their personal savior! Praise the Lord!

After all that, starting a 6:00pm to 8:30pm we have YOUGROW (Yielding Ourselves Unashamed as God's Ready Open Workers) which is a bible study that Brandon Werner put together (men and women ages 14 and up). We're doing the "The Truth Project" that was put out by Focus On the Family and that's going great! Mission day is a big part of my life now and I am learning so much through it. I'm praying that God will use me to further His Kingdom more and more each time I go into the schools.

YOUGROW: God has been speaking to me during YOUGROW each week in different ways, but He spoke to me specifically this week. To make a long story short, I had unconfessed immorality that God showed me I needed to confess. I had the opportunity to confess my sins to my dad and God. I coveted to God that I would follow Him and serve Him in my actions, thoughts, devotions, etc. God has helped me see that I can't be moral on my own, but need Him to guide me and help me. God has been working in my life in many awesome, amazing ways!

Well, that that's all folks!

Many blessings!

What is a Christian

"I don’t know what you think a Christian is? I know so many people that think a Christian is going to church a lot. You may have heard this before but going to church a lot doesn’t make you a Christian any more than going to McDonald’s and them making you a hamburger. And saying a prayer doesn’t make you a Christian, people in every religion pray. Even praying to Jesus doesn’t make you a Christian; He says many shall come in that day and say Lord, Lord! He says depart from me, I never knew you. Having the gifts of the Sprit or looking like you’ve got them doesn’t make you a Christian. Jesus says many shall come in that day and say Lord! Did we not cast our demons, and heal the sick, and raise the dead and all kinds of stuff? And He’ll say the same thing, depart from me I never knew you. You know what a Christian is? Someone who’s banana’s for Jesus! Someone who loves the Lord thy God with all his heart, all his soul, all his mind, and all his strength. Don’t forget the second part… He loves everybody else, as much as He loves Himself.
And Paul goes even further; He prefers that others get served before him.
An unquenchable, undeniable love that God puts in our heart. And that love does not just stay within the boarder of the United States, or within the boarder of our own denomination, or in the boarders of our own church; but it’s so large, and it’s so explosive, it explodes everything that gets in its way. With gentleness and power from the Holy Ghost."

Howard Family - Laptop

Laptop -

Today I bought a laptop! If you didn't know mine crashed so we took it to a shop and they diagnosed that the mother board went bad. It was going to cost quite a lot of money to fix it and they couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't happen again in the near future. So I prayed about it and got some counsel, and I ended up buying a new one. It's awesome! It has a lot of cool stuff on it that only a few of you might be somewhat interested and most of you wouldn't even know what I am talking about. So I won't use the fancy terminology that I don't really know. So I will just tell you that it is a really good one! Here is a picture...

Howard Family -

The Howard family is a family that just recently moved in close to the Tuter's house. Caleb Howard had a 4-wheeler accident a week from this last Monday (8-31-09). It was very tragic. Him and his siblings were playing around on their 4-wheelers and they found a ramp that they were jumping off. Everything was going great and they were having a good time. Then Caleb went again and the 4-wheeler flipped over throwing him off of it and the the 4-wheeler landed on his head smashing it, and he past away that day. Mr. Tuter heard about it from one of the kids and ran up the hill to check it out. He prayed (for a long time) over the father who was weeping over his son.

Please keep the Howard family in you prayers. Pray for the parents marriage, the siblings, peace for the entire family, and that God would make Himself known to them in a mighty way.

Also please pray for Mr. Tuter. Pray that God would give him wisdom to minister to this family and that he would be a light for Christ.

Pole Position Raceway -

Pole position raceway kind of like a indoor go kart. It is soooo much fun. The go karts go 40 miles/hour. All the karts are electronic so they set the speed electronically. It's Awesome!!!
When they were testing to see how fast they could go outside they found that they maxed out at 90 miles/hour!

Here are some pictures of Luke and I racing...

Mr. Myers and Mrs. Myers raced as well. They said they had a lot of fun too!
(BTW, If you ever were considering going it's very very pricey)

Spacers -

Yesterday I go spacers on. It is not fun. :( It hurts my mouth, teeth, head, and everything else around those parts hurt. I can't eat anything solid or it hurts really bad. I have been eating smoothies, soup, shakes, and going to eat jello after it is done. The spacers are little rubber bands that they jam into the gaps of my 6 year and 12 year molars. Here is a picture...

I have four on the top also.

They expand my teeth so that they can put rings around those teeth when they put my braces on. I don't know exactly what those rings are for... but I have to have them. If a rubber band comes then I have to use this...

They tied two pieces of floss to each end so when or if they come out I can to put the floss in first and pull until the rubber band is through the gaps of my teeth. Hopefully I don't have to do that.

COACH -
Here's a picture of our first day of COACH...

Pole Position -

Yesterday I went to pole position raceway with the Myers and it was soooooo AWESOME.

I am trying to get pictures and will explain what it is and post the pictures when or if I get them.

School starts for me tomorrow and then life will get even more busy then it already is! :( :) (Mixed emotions)

COACH... WOW

COACH started today and it is not cool at all! :( Practical Protocol I can tell is going to be a lot of fun! Mrs. Webb is my teacher (she is very good friends with my Grandma Phyllis) and is a lot of fun in this class. Fundamentals of Essay is also taught by Mrs. Webb and it is not going to be fun... at all. The first week of assignments I have a 5 paragraph essay dew, a lot of studying to do, and more writing. =( I am not excited. But I know in the long run I will learn a lot, be glad I have done it, and be a better writer.

I'm at the Myers' house right now and will be here until my mom and dad return home Saturday. I can't wait! I have missed them so much! I'm mowing tomorrow, going to celebrate Luke's b-day this week or the next (his birthday is August 26 if you wanted to know), and have my normal life on top of school starting. Life is NUTS!

Here is a picture that my dad sent me! CRAZY!

(BTW... Just wigs)

Also they were going to go through a pier, but the weather was to bad so they went another way and saw a glacier! They said it was awesome! Here are pictures:

The glacier is over 1500 feet wide, several hundred feet tall. I don't know the exact numbers, but it was BIG!

Well that's all the pictures I have and all I have to say.

Dad and Mom on Crouse

My parents went on there 25 anniversary and they went to Alaska on a Royal Cruise! I am so glad they got to go!! They're having a blast.

Here's the first picture that I have received from them...

This week I'm staying at Brandon's house, the Myers, my house, and the Tuters house.

COACH is starting this week and I am excited, and at the same time I think I'm going to die. :) I'm taking two classes at COACH this year. One of them is Practical Protocol, which people say is a lot of fun. But my other class is Fundamentals of Essay which I hear is the hardest class in COACH. :( I am not very excited about that. Oh well, I guess I will survive... maybe.
That's about all I have to say (or type)

Mission Week is over?! =) =( I can't believe it's over, yet it seems like it's been 2 weeks. I am happy to be home, but I'm already sad that all my friends aren't with me everyday and how much fun it was to serve the people of our community. I wish we did this kind of thing for often yet I would die if we did!!!

Anyway, enough with that not on to how Mission Week went. It was PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Garage Sale

Hello blogger people! I haven’t posted in a while… now I am! A lot has been going on, but I will post about the most recent, our garage sale! All the profits from this garage sale will be for mission trips. We have been having the garage sale at our house for the past 2 days but it has seemed like sooo much more. That’s probably because we have been preparing for the past month. It’s been a BIG project! My mom, MawMaw, and so many more people have done so much so this garage sale would be successful, but I have to give ALL the credit to God. This years garage sale was a HUGE success!

Tonight is the YOUGROW fellowship which I have to go get ready for.

Wedding?!?! :( :) ;( ;) :D

I have some mixed feeling about the wedding as you can tell by reading my title. I'm curious how it's already here. Scared that I'm going to trip, fall, make a fool out of my self, ect while I'm walking my Grandma's to their seats. Sad that she is leaving forever. And extremely happy for Lauren that she met the perfect guy for her and that today is the day she will oath to love and cherish him until death separates them!

I just got to say one thing... Britt, you are amazing to my sister and I want to thank you for being you!

Update From Searcy Arkansas!

Hello people of Oklahoma! I haven't had access to a computer this trip, but now I do! I only have a few minutes, but I will try to post as much as I can in that time frame.

Wednesday: Wednesday we left from Oklahoma City and drove to Arkansas as you probably already know. We got here at around 4:00 pm and went to a Church Of Christ (here in Arkansas) for a revival. It went very well and there was a great number of people who came and excepted Christ as their savior. While the revival was going on we had a small children's conference at that church. It went very well!

Thursday: We set up for the big two day conference Thursday late afternoon. It went very smoothly and we were finished earlier than expected that night! BTW, we stayed at a church called the Collage Church Of Christ and stayed there for 3 nights.

Friday: The conference was on! It went very well and had a great turn out of 39 salivations and several rededication!!! It was fantastic!

Saturday (today): It was the same thing as Friday, but after the conference was over we came over to a hotel and are at that hotel right now hanging out, fellowshiping, and relaxing!

Thank you for all of your prayers and for everything you have ALL done! I would love to go in to for detail, but am out of time!

PS. I will try to update pictures when I get home!

Happy Mothers Day!!!!!!!!

Happy Mothers Day!!!!

This Mothers Day has gone very well. I believe my mom has been truly blessed and hope all of yours have been as well.

Yesterday we had an enjoyable time at Brandon and Rachael's house eating, visiting, and watching home videos with the family. We set aside some time that all of us went around the room and said one thing that we love about my mom and I believe it was very meaningful to her and also to us.

Today we ate at our house with some of my relatives and grandma's. It was a pleasure being with them today!

Well, I would like to here about your mothers day too. Please comment, post on your blog, or e-mail me so I can hear all about it!

Long Time no Post

Hey blogger people. Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I could make up a lot of excuses why I haven’t, for instance, I haven’t been on my computer lately, I haven’t had time, ect... but I truthfully haven't wanted to. Now I have had my rest of blogging, and I am ready to start back up.

I lot of things have been going on in my life lately so I will make a list and tell you about them in a "short" manner. Most of you have already heard about most of the things or was apart of them, but I will tell you about them anyway.

BETHEL: BETHEL went very well. It was a children’s conference that Character Focus Ministries did and we had about 17 children ages 4-12 participate. They were all from public schools and broken homes. It was very hard, but rewarding. There were 6 of the 17 children who accepted Christ as their personal savior!!! Praise the LORD!!!

OCHEC: OCHEC went very well also. We had about 21 children that prayed the prayer to except Christ as their personal savior!!! These children were homeschooled which made a huge difference! I thank the LORD that He gave me the opportunity to see those children except Him as LORD of their life! It was life changing!!!

Frontier City: Friday Will Wells and I went to Frontier City with the Covel girls and their mom, Fagala’s, and three of the Compton’s! We went since it was home school day. It was a ton of fun!!!

Well, that's all I have to post from BETHEL until now.

Many blessings!

My AMAZING God!!!

The past couple days I have had a hard time believing that God even exist. Also seeing the love God has for me. Wednesday there has been several things that God has put in to place to show me that He exists and the love He has for me. I was in my room, and I heard God the clearest I have ever experienced. I realized that I am a sinner. I realized what Christ did on the cross. I realized how much God loves me. I couldn't believe how God could love such a sinner as I. I finally understood a little bit of the Love God has for me I am amazed! I wish I would have experienced this a long time ago. I know I could never withhold all of God’s love, but I finally have a glimpse what it is. It has changed my life!

Thank you for all your prayers. I can see and feel God working in my life in a mighty way.

Invitation to Alumni Game

Tomorrow at 5:30pm - 8:00pm Liberty basketball has an alumni game and will recognize the seniors. This is an invitation. It's at First Baptist Church of Moore right off 27th street. Mr. Harper reserved both courts and we will not use both at first, so your children, if you have any, will be able to play on that court.

Hope you can make it!

Spring Break

This spring break has been a tiring one. Luke and I started mowing Tuesday and Wednesday. We are scalping the yards before the summer which takes twice the time or more. We cut one Tuesday that takes less than an hour to cut it normally, and it took about four hours to scalp it. L It was crazy! So far we have cut 4 yards and still have several to go.

My parents are not feeling well today. We have been planning to work here at our house, cleaning out the shed, cutting the grass, ECT, tomorrow morning. We may have to do it another day though depending on how they are feeling.

Lauren left Saturday, if you didn’t already know, to Glorieta, Mexico! I talked to her today and she said she is having a great time! She went with several people many from different states. She will be back tomorrow night!

Jonathan and Brandon went to the Tuter’s house tonight to hang out.

Elizabeth and Katherine spent the night at our house last night! It was a lot of fun playing with them this morning. They are the sweetest nieces ever!!!

I have had a great spring break, and hope you all that are in school are as well.

Many blessings!

Thursday, March 12, 2009

Life, I have realized, is very short. This year the days, weeks, and months go by like a snap. I wake up in the morning, start on my school and realize that it is already time to go to bed. It has been crazy!

The first week of March was the Liberty basketball tournament week (if you weren't there or didn't know). Junior high (my team) did great! We went to the championship, and sadly lost. But it was still a lot of fun, and 2nd place is great! Junior varsity got 4th, and varsity got 2nd! The girls did great too. I forgot exactly what places they got, but I know they did really well.

This week, I can't remember all that I did (that's sad)... but I can remember most of it. I did my normal school Monday-Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday I went to the gym to play basketball and work on my shot. Tuesday Luke and Caleb came to the gym with me. Luke was going for a ball and jammed his thumb severely. He thought it was broken, and so did Mrs. Myers. When she picked him up, they took him to the emergency room and found out that it was not broken, but a very bad jam.

Thursday my parents went to a "family reunion" (some of my dad's dad's cousins) in Stillwater, Oklahoma. I went to C.O.A.C.H. classes and after C.O.A.C.H. stright to the Myers house. They left after I was picked up from C.O.A.C.H. and I stayed that night and had a great time!

If you don't go to Western Hills Church, or if you weren't there, the message Pastor Wells preached was fantastic! If you would like, you can go to the western hills church website and listen to it online.

Ordination Service

Today was Brandon’s ordination service. Brandon is called to the ministry, and more in particular, he is called to share Christ with children. I and many others see this by his actions and he is not afraid to announce it. He is a true blessing.

His story is a great example of what I want for my life. Not that I am particularly going to have a ministry to reach out to kids, but the Godly example he sets is incredible. The story he has of how God spoke to him and gave him the call for ministry is amazing. To hear God speak so clearly takes a tremendous amount of effort. You have to be so pure, faithful, and open to hear God to hear Him speak (Brandon is at that point). He is one of those men that do not just talk the talk, but he also walks the walk. I’m not saying that he is perfect, but he is very faithful and Godly “young” man. He has been such a good example to me in my life. We have had our share of disagreements and arguments, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love him and respect him.

When we have an argument he is always the first to seek forgiveness. He also wants to know when he makes a mistake and he tries his best to correct it.
Thank you Brandon for the Godly example you are to me and the amazing brother you have become. You are awesome!!!

Open my eyes

God has been showing me things today that I need to change. Jon and I were talking about the anti christ and what the bible says he will be like. I was asking him questions, such as, will Christ return while the anti christ is here, or after the anti christ has some time on the earth? We were saying that when God comes will I want to be sinning in any manner? Or will I want to be praying, serving, ect?

I have been struggling to guard my eyes. It motivated me to be ready. It really opened my eyes that I need to be ready at all times for Jesus to come, to encourage others, to share the gospel, ect.

Please pray that I would listen to the promptings of God, and to be ready at all times.

Thanks for reading!

At Braden's house

Today I am at my cousin Braden's house. My Grandma Phyllis is here for the week and she invited me to come and hang out... so I did. I am doing school until he gets home from school. We are having a great time!

Today I have just been thinking of how awesome my family is. I am so greatful for Lauren, Jonathan, and Brandon. The Godly example they set for me is amazing. Most children my age don't have that in their life. My incredible sister in-law, Rachael, is a true blessing. I have always thought she would be a great sister, but I never thought she would be mine. Rachael, thank you for the Godly example you set for me, and for the encouraging sister you have been.

My one in a million parents are so good to me. Without them, there is no way I would be anything close to who I am today even though I am the sinner of all sinners, and the least of the righteous. Thank you mom and dad for the awesome parents you are!

Family's are so important. You should treasure the family God has given you. Set a good example for your younger, and even your older siblings. And bless your parents by your actions.

That's just what has been on my mind today, so I thought I would post it on my blog.

Tulsa games :(

Saturday, we went to Tulsa for a basketball game. I don't know the girls scores, but they both lost. :( Here are the guys scores:

JH guys: 23 - 51

V guys: 22 - 71

We played Tulsa Noah Jaguars. They were great! :( It was good for us though. We saw things that we need to change, and will change them.

Today I have been spending time with my family. We have had a really good time!

That's all I have right now.

May the Lord truly bless you throughout the week!

Fun Weekend!

This Saturday I had a great time with my family. We don't get together as much as we used
to, and it's a pleasure being with them. We had a great time to fellowship with one another, playing, laughing, and just having a great time.
I also went with David and Mark Fagala and Caleb Burnett to the Ford Center to watch PBR (professional bull riding). It was a blast!

Today Jon, Dad, Mom, Blake Compton and I went out to eat after church. It was a lot of fun being with each other. After we got home Jon and I went to wash my grandma's car. That was an honor to help her. We've been at her house playing cards and visiting with her. We don't come over as much anymore so this was a real joy for me.

So that has been my weekend

The Lord's Prayer (Scripture for the Day)

In Glory Seals we have been memorizing the Lord's Prayer. The writer (Chris Wall) of the A Life Worth Following Journal about Justin Sullivan's life, said that Justin always took a little bit of scripture and memorized a little bit at a time (such as 1 verse a week). My dad thought that was a great idea so he is doing it in Glory Seals. So we memorized 1 (if they were very short, 2) verses a week. My dad figured out that if you memorize 1 verse a week from the time you are 12, to the time you are 80 (if you live that long) you will memorize around 3,000 verses!!! WOW!

So here is the exact translation and scripture we just finished:

Matthew 6:9-13 (King James Version)

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Wednesday-(should be) Saturday...but Friday! :)

This week my parents went to 10killer Lake. They left Wednesday and were going to come home Friday… the power went out at the cabin (when we got sleet, they got ice). So the power went out Friday, late afternoon. They decided to pack and get ready to leave just in case the power didn’t come back on so they wouldn’t have to clean in the dark. It didn’t come on so they came home tonight (Friday).

This Wednesday night throught Friday, I stayed at the Myers house. From B-ball practice Friday night I went to the Perkins house. I am staying here tonight and my dad will pick me up tomorrow morning.

This week has been a lot of fun… but I’m ready to see my parents. They should be home now.

That’s about it.

Many blessings!!!

My Life Recently

Tuesday - I went over to the Myers house to do school while my parents went to the movies with Lauren, my Grandma Phylis, and Mrs JoAnn. (I didn't go because I had a lot of school to do.) I ended up spending the night that at their house.

Wednesday - Church was canceled that night and COACH classes were the next morning, so Luke and I worked it out that he spent the night at our house. They ended up canceling COACH! I love COACH, but it's nice to have a break.

Thursday - Luke and I just hung out. It was a lot of fun!

Friday - Morning I went with my dad to load some of his tools at a rent house that my Great Uncle Cecile and Great Uncle Russel owns. It was about 10:00 a.m. when I got home. Then, I did some school until Basketball practice. After practice Will Wells came over to our house and spent the night Friday - Sunday. (His parents are out of town.)

Saturday - At around 9:00 a.m. we went to Tim Nelson's house, a blind man in our church, to help him move. He is moving close to Madill, Oklahoma closer to his mom. Then we went home and did a lot of nothing.

Today - Mr. Compton preached. It was incredible! If you weren't there and if you want to listen to it just go to westernhillschurch.com, highlight over media, and go to audio sermons. You will be truly blessed. If you are reading this today (Sunday) it will not be on the website until tomorrow afternoon or night.
Now we are preparing to watch the Super Bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Cardinals!!!!!!

Well, have a fantastic day!!!

Why we weren't at church today

If you were wondering why my dad, Jon, and I weren't at church today, it's because we all have bad head aches, tired, and I have a sore throat.

So that is why we weren't at church today.

The past week my mom has been working on sorting pictures for Jonathan's album. She has a crop today and spending the night. She organized the pictures on the computer and then sent them in to be printed in the order she had them on the computer. When they picked them up, the were all mixed up. It was a disaster! :( Now she is at the crop working to organize them and start his album. She has been working so hard.

Today I had basketball practice. My right calf muscle has been bothering me for the past couple weeks. This week I mentioned it to my parents, but at basketball practice it was unbearable. I had to sit down and skip out on this practice. It stunk! :(

Mr. and Mrs. Perkins went on a cruise this week and so we have Dylan today (Friday) - Sunday.

Rachael went to the crop with my mom, so Brandon and Elizabeth is spending the night at our house. (Rachael took Katherine with her.)

Many Blessings!!! :)

Yesterday me and many other men went to the Well's new house to move them in. The add-on is finished and looks great! My dad, and everyone who helped with this add-on, did amazing!!! Everything looks great!!!!!! So yesterday we were the movers. Everything went really well and looks great!!!

The pool is almost finished and will be ready to swim in before this summer... Lord willing. As far as I know, everyone is in the house and doing well.

Today we had a Graduation meeting at our house. They talked over some things, ate, and then went bowling. I know Jon had a great time and bowled a 135!

Pastor Wells spoke a great sermon today on "The Call". He was talking about having the call for ministry, being a pastor, ECT. I have been trying to find out if I have the call on my life or not. It's hard to tell if the "thoughts" you have are from God, or if they are thoughts that I am just having?. I am in the process of finding out how to tell.

Siiiiiiick :(

Well, today has been a little disappointing. I woke up at around 4:00 am vomiting. I didn't stop completely until about... now. About an hour ago I took a 2 hour nap. When I woke up I was feeling quite a bit better. I most likely vomited or had dry heaves about 20 times. It was soooo miserable. :( Now I am doing better, but still not up to par.

If you don't see me at church tonight... you know why.

Most Frightning Experince

Well today my mom went with my MawMaw to run a couple of errands. My dad was at work, Jon was at work, and Lauren was at an interview. So I was at my house alone. I was just starting on school when I heard the doorbell ring. It rang twice in a row, and a little later two more times. I went to the door and there was a black male about Brandon's size, bald at the door. I didn't answer it because I was home alone and I never have seen him. I didn't pay very close attention, but enough to describe him. I saw him leave and go toward our garage. I felt like I should shut the curtains, and lock all the doors. I didn't know why, but I just did it. Then I peak out our window with the curtain still shut and saw Jonathan's room door open. So I immediately called dad and while it was ringing I saw the guy come out Jon's room. I told my dad there was somebody in our back yard and he told me to call 911. While it was ringing I was heading back to my dad's room and got his gun, as he has thought me to do. I waited in the room and told the cops where I was, described the man, and waited on the phone. While I was on the phone I heard the back screen open. At this time I was pretty shaky. Then about 1 min later my dad was at the front door. He came from the church and was at my house in about a 1 1/2 min. That just tells you how fast he was going! :) I let him in the front door and they were looking all around the house to make sure he wasn't there. BTW, I locked all the doors. So the police arrived around the same time my dad did and was looking too. They couldn't find the guy so then they started asking me a couple of questions, such as, do you know what the man looked like, what he was wearing, ect. The cops said I did everything I needed to do, thanks to my dad, and gave me a little advice. When they left they saw a red car at the end of our street wrecked, empty, and out of gas. They checked it out, and it ended up being a stolen car that the man was probably driving. While they were looking at the car, we started putting the pieces together. We saw that the back door was wide open, I locked it before anybody was there. The guy kicked it in and must have heard me close my parents room door. I'm glad he did. So he was in our house and was mostly likely scared off.

So now everybody is gone and I am about to start back up on school. This happened at around 9:30, and now it is 11:56.

The Lord was so good to me because I don't think I could have done what I did without his peace and the thoughts he gave me. Praise the LORD!!!!!!!

My Schedule

Friday - We had a ball game in Ponca City. It was a long drive for a b-ball game, but it was a lot of fun. We arrived at around 1:30-2:00 and stayed at a hotel that night. The first game was a Junior High (JH) game that we lost by 1 point. :( Our team never gave up so to me it was a BIG win!!! The final score on that game was: 13 - 14. Yes, it was a very low scoring game. It's not that both teams were really bad, it's that both teams played great defence. We beat this team by 1 point in overtime last time we played them, but we had all of our starters. This game we were missing our biggest guy, Caleb Compton. So I hope we can play them again this year with all of our starters and see what happens.
The second game was a Varsity (V) game. We won by about 6. We had no problem beating this team in the past, but this game there was a little twist. We were missing all but one of our starters... Jonathan, so it was a closer game, but more exciting!

Saturday - We were at the hotel that we stayed at until Noon and then started back home. On our way home we stopped at one of my dad's aunt's house. Her house is on a farm were my dad was a big part of his childhood. We stopped there and said hello, and my dad showed us the farm where he worked! It was a lot of fun seeing a part of his childhood memories.
Then after that we went home.

Today - When we got home from church we cleaned the house and went to eat. After we were finished eating we went to my MawMaw's house because my aunt's (mom's older sister) car was leaking. So my dad, mom, and I went to check it out. On our way there Brandon called and said he sold his car and needed the title notarized. So my dad went to the church to meat him so he could notarize it. We stayed at my MawMaw's house while he is at the church.
When he gets back we are going to Brandon and Rachael's house to see them and the babies. Until then I am at my MawMaw's house posting on my blog.

So there has been my schedule the past couple of days.

Manny Blessings!

PS. I have a game tomorrow if any of you want to come. Mr. Harper sent our the info today:

We play Monday night at Harvest Life at 6:30.

The address is 9125 SE 15th Street in Midwest City.

The Lord never ceases to amaze me!!!

The Lord never ceases to amaze me! Today my dad and mom went to Guthrie. They stooped to get gas and my dad set his iPhone on the top while he was filling up the car. He forgot about it and drove off. About 4 miles later he saw that he didn't have it and remembered what happened. He turned around as quickly as possible to look for it. He didn't find it at the gas station and just stopped and prayed. He got back on the rode and while he was driving he found it. It was face down on the rode with the sim card popped out and the cover demolished. He pulled off the rode and went to get it. He put the sim card back in and it is working fine!!! It was a little scratched on the top, but that was it.

The Lord never ceases to amaze me!

An amazing week!

This weekend was absolutely amazing!!! Yesterday (Friday) and today (Saturday) we have been skiing in the best weather ever!!! The lifts open at 9:00am and close at 4:00pm on the weekdays, and 8:30am - 4:00 on the weekends. We skied almost the full day on the first day, and half a day on the second. Thank you for your prayers. There were no injury's, the weather was great, and everything was incredible! We had a great time. We are leaving early tomorrow morning.

We'll see you soon!
