Invitation to Alumni Game

Tomorrow at 5:30pm - 8:00pm Liberty basketball has an alumni game and will recognize the seniors. This is an invitation. It's at First Baptist Church of Moore right off 27th street. Mr. Harper reserved both courts and we will not use both at first, so your children, if you have any, will be able to play on that court.

Hope you can make it!

Many Blessings!!!

Spring Break

This spring break has been a tiring one. Luke and I started mowing Tuesday and Wednesday. We are scalping the yards before the summer which takes twice the time or more. We cut one Tuesday that takes less than an hour to cut it normally, and it took about four hours to scalp it. L It was crazy! So far we have cut 4 yards and still have several to go.

My parents are not feeling well today. We have been planning to work here at our house, cleaning out the shed, cutting the grass, ECT, tomorrow morning. We may have to do it another day though depending on how they are feeling.

Lauren left Saturday, if you didn’t already know, to Glorieta, Mexico! I talked to her today and she said she is having a great time! She went with several people many from different states. She will be back tomorrow night!

Jonathan and Brandon went to the Tuter’s house tonight to hang out.

Elizabeth and Katherine spent the night at our house last night! It was a lot of fun playing with them this morning. They are the sweetest nieces ever!!!

I have had a great spring break, and hope you all that are in school are as well.

Many blessings!

Life, I have realized, is very short. This year the days, weeks, and months go by like a snap. I wake up in the morning, start on my school and realize that it is already time to go to bed. It has been crazy!

The first week of March was the Liberty basketball tournament week (if you weren't there or didn't know). Junior high (my team) did great! We went to the championship, and sadly lost. But it was still a lot of fun, and 2nd place is great! Junior varsity got 4th, and varsity got 2nd! The girls did great too. I forgot exactly what places they got, but I know they did really well.

This week, I can't remember all that I did (that's sad)... but I can remember most of it. I did my normal school Monday-Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday I went to the gym to play basketball and work on my shot. Tuesday Luke and Caleb came to the gym with me. Luke was going for a ball and jammed his thumb severely. He thought it was broken, and so did Mrs. Myers. When she picked him up, they took him to the emergency room and found out that it was not broken, but a very bad jam.

Thursday my parents went to a "family reunion" (some of my dad's dad's cousins) in Stillwater, Oklahoma. I went to C.O.A.C.H. classes and after C.O.A.C.H. stright to the Myers house. They left after I was picked up from C.O.A.C.H. and I stayed that night and had a great time!

If you don't go to Western Hills Church, or if you weren't there, the message Pastor Wells preached was fantastic! If you would like, you can go to the western hills church website and listen to it online.

Many blessings!

Ordination Service

Today was Brandon’s ordination service. Brandon is called to the ministry, and more in particular, he is called to share Christ with children. I and many others see this by his actions and he is not afraid to announce it. He is a true blessing.

His story is a great example of what I want for my life. Not that I am particularly going to have a ministry to reach out to kids, but the Godly example he sets is incredible. The story he has of how God spoke to him and gave him the call for ministry is amazing. To hear God speak so clearly takes a tremendous amount of effort. You have to be so pure, faithful, and open to hear God to hear Him speak (Brandon is at that point). He is one of those men that do not just talk the talk, but he also walks the walk. I’m not saying that he is perfect, but he is very faithful and Godly “young” man. He has been such a good example to me in my life. We have had our share of disagreements and arguments, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love him and respect him.

When we have an argument he is always the first to seek forgiveness. He also wants to know when he makes a mistake and he tries his best to correct it.
Thank you Brandon for the Godly example you are to me and the amazing brother you have become. You are awesome!!!

Many blessings!
